Role Description
The Field Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Oldsmar, FL. This role involves performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS), DC power systems, and batteries. The technician will conduct regular inspections, ensure optimal equipment performance, and provide technical support to customers. Documenting service reports and maintaining a safe working environment is also a critical part of this role. Collaboration with team members and customer service excellence is essential. On the job training will be provided to qualified candidates.

- Technical expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, including Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) and DC power systems.
- Skilled in performing installations, inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance for power systems and related equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively in a timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for providing professional support to clients and working collaboratively with team members.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Willingness to travel locally within Florida for on-site service requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in electronics or electrical engineering is preferred.
- Experience with Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) or similar equipment is a plus.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment as needed and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
