Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool maintenance including water testing, chemical balancing, and cleaning to ensure optimal water quality.
- Conduct pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming pools, brushing surfaces, and emptying skimmer baskets.
- Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems to identify issues.
- Repair or replace faulty equipment using hand tools and power tools, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and repairs performed on each pool.
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to protect yourself and clients.
- Assist with seasonal start-up or closing procedures for pools as required.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair pool equipment efficiently.
- Experience with pool maintenance, cleaning, and chemical balancing techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of pool systems including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorination systems, and automation controls.
- Service technician experience is preferred to ensure high-quality customer service standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
