About the PACU/Recover RN role:

What You’ll Do

• Provide immediate post‑anesthesia care for orthopedic surgical patients

• Monitor airway, vital signs, pain levels, and overall stability

• Administer medications for pain and nausea

• Manage oxygen therapy, IV fluids, and post‑op interventions

• Assess surgical sites, dressings, immobilizers, and drains

• Support patients recovering from regional anesthesia and nerve blocks

• Educate patients and families on post‑op care and discharge instructions

• Collaborate closely with anesthesia, surgeons, and perioperative staff

What We’re Looking For

• Current RN license (MD)

• PACU, ICU, ED, or critical care experience strongly preferred

• BLS ACLS preferred

• Strong assessment and airway‑management skills

• Experience with orthopedic post‑operative care is a plus

• Excellent communication skills
