About the IT Manager Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to lead our technology infrastructure, systems, and support functions. This role will report directly to the CFO and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day IT operations at Precision. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership skills and a customer-service mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, software, and cloud systems
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security protocols
• Plan and manage the IT budget, including hardware/software procurement and vendor contracts
• Ensure system security, data protection, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
• Lead IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Provide technical guidance and support to other departments
• Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend improvements
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5 years of experience in IT roles
• Strong knowledge of network administration, systems management, and cybersecurity best practices, especially for a healthcare provider
• Experience managing IT budgets and vendor relationships
• Proficiency with M365 and Azure
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CompTIA, CISSP, Microsoft/Cisco certifications)
• Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) frameworks
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare
• Prior experience with healthcare providers
