What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pro Mechanical - Insulator Helper position at Precision NDT LLC?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Carry materials, prepare surfaces to be insulated, and clean work area.
- Assist Insulator with brushing adhesives on or attaching metal backed pipes.
- Measure and cut insulation material to specified size and shape for covering flat or round surfaces using tape measure, knife, or scissors.
- Assist in fitting, wrapping, or attaching required insulation material around or to structure.
- Cover or seat insulation with specified material to secure insulation to the structure.
- Follows all hazardous waste handling guidelines.
- Maintains tools and equipment and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
- Perform other duties as required.
