Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate wheel alignments using state-of-the-art alignment equipment, ensuring all specifications meet manufacturer standards.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to diagnose electrical issues related to alignment sensors and ADAS components.
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on automotive engine systems, including powertrain components, to identify issues affecting vehicle alignment and handling.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform mechanical repairs, adjustments, and replacements necessary for proper alignment.
- Repair and maintain automotive electrical systems, ensuring sensors and electronic modules are functioning correctly for optimal vehicle performance.
- Assist in heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when replacing suspension parts or other components involved in alignment procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring vehicles are returned in top condition with proper alignment settings.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive repair with a focus on alignment and electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical wiring diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, sensor alignment, and advanced driver assistance system troubleshooting.
- Skilled in diesel engine repair, automotive engine system repair, and general mechanical repairs.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with vehicle maintenance tools including hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair tools.
- Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately and perform complex electrical troubleshooting.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high-quality work standards.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients seeking vehicle repairs or maintenance.
