AS9100 Production Technician -- Aerospace Manufacturing

1. Kickoff: Inspect your work area for safety and readiness, review the day’s schedule, and confirm equipment settings.
2. On the line: Operate and closely monitor production machinery to maintain consistent throughput and optimal performance.
3. Quality first: Apply AS9100 procedures, perform in-process checks, and document results to ensure every item meets spec.
4. Team rhythm: Coordinate with peers to hit production goals and timelines, sharing updates and solving issues together.
5. Continuous improvement: Flag opportunities to refine processes, support kaizen-style efforts, and help train new teammates on best practices.
6. Closeout: Tidy, organize, and reset your station so tomorrow’s shift starts strong and safe.

• Run, fine-tune, and observe manufacturing equipment to produce consistent, high-quality output.
• Follow AS9100 Quality Systems rigorously to maintain compliance and elevate process reliability.
• Conduct regular product inspections to catch defects early and verify dimensional/spec compliance.
• Collaborate across the production team to meet daily and weekly targets.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to support safety and efficiency.
• Assist with onboarding and coaching new hires on procedures and quality standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and throughput.

• Hands-on manufacturing experience in an AS9100-regulated environment.
• Working knowledge of quality-control methods and documentation practices.
• Team-oriented mindset with clear verbal and written communication.
• Meticulous attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new tools, processes, and technologies.
• High school diploma or equivalent; industry certifications are a plus.
