What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st shift Assembly/weld position at PRECISION MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of position):

- Ability to identify part geometry to establish location surfaces and work holding needs.
- Follow prescribed quality procedures including identifying all dimensions established at the assembly operation insuring part conformity both dimensionally, functionally, and aesthetically.
- Follow prescribed safety procedures.
- Lead workplace organization effort including fixture numbering and locations.
- Fabricate and assemble Instruments through the use of TIG, Micro TIG, and Laser welders according to customer or employer specifications.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous machining required.
- Experience: Previous TIG welding experience required.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gage, and optical comparator with digital read out.
NONESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS (not necessary but preferred):
- Understanding and application of GD&T.
