What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Assembler position at Precision Medical Technologies?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of position):

· Ability to identify part geometry to establish location surfaces and work holding needs.
· Follow prescribed quality procedures including identifying all dimensions established at the assembly operation insuring part conformity both dimensionally, functionally, and aesthetically.
· Follow prescribed safety procedures.
· Lead workplace organization effort including fixture numbering and locations.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
· Experience: Previous machining required.
· Ability to read blueprints.
· Ability to use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gage, and optical comparator with digital read out.
NONESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS (not necessary but preferred):
· Understanding and application of GD&T.
