What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Router Operator position at Precision Materials?
We are seeking hard-working candidates to fill our 1st & 2nd shift positions.
Pay rate will depend on previous experience with CNC equipment.
Previous experience is not required. We can train you!
6:00am to 4:30pm
4:30pm to 3:00am
Job description:
o Sets up router table to ensure the proper part location and vacuum hold down
o Starts router and monitors dimensions of processed wood stock to verify conformance to specifications using ruler and caliper.
o Inspects materials before and after cutting
o Off bears cut product
o Pushes stock to/from the machine
Education and Qualifications
- One to three years of experience operating a CNC router in an industrial environment.
- Able to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Constant standing. Frequent walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, and bending at waist.
- Able to read and understand a shop tag.
- Able to read a caliper and tape measure.
