Job Summary:
The Tool Crib Attendant issues tools and equipment to workers, maintains records of issued tools and monitors the tool crib hardware inventory.
Duties:
· Help maintain an organized and efficient tool crib
· Receive, store and issue tools, hardware materials and equipment in an industrial establishment
· Maintain inventory of all contents of tool crib
· Receive, unpack and store incoming equipment and requisition stock to replenish inventory
· Inspect tools and equipment for defects and wear, and report unsafe condition issues to Management
· Mark and identify tools and equipment using tags, electric marking tools or stamps
· Follow all company rules and policies
· Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
· Follow all safety rules and quality standards
· Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
· Provide manufacturing support as required
Abilities and Skills:
· Attention to detail
· Must have basic knowledge of tools and hardware
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Must have basic computer skills- Microsoft Suite and Excel
· Must use Personal Protective Equipment required for Tool Crib Attendant
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to work independently
· Willing to work in excess of 40 hours a week
Education/Experience
· 2 years tool crib experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
