What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plasma Robot Operator position at Precision Material Handling Equipment?
The Plasma Robot Operator position is responsible for operating various machinery involved in production of metal material necessary for manufacturing welded steel racks.
Duties:
· Set up and use plasma cutting robots -using basic functions of hand pendant, move and reset machine, restart programs to complete material specifications
· Prepare material for production- will include loading, unloading, lifting and moving material
· Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities- sweep, mop, remove debris
· Follow all company rules and policies
· Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
· Follow all safety rules and quality standards
· Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
· Provide manufacturing support as required
Abilities and Skills:
· Must have basic knowledge of hand and power tools
· Must have basic knowledge of FANUC
· Must have strong measuring skills using tape measures
· Must have basic math skills
· Must use Personal Protective Equipment required for Plasma Robot Operators
· Must be versatile and able to adapt to daily requirements
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to work independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
