What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Brake Press Operator position at Precision Manufacturing Group?
Precision Manufacturing Group, a fabricator of precision metal parts, is seeking an EXPERIENCED CNC Brake Press Operator with extensive experience programming, setting up and operating a CNC Brake Press. The employee must be able to be self-sufficient reading data (and/or prints), programming CNC machines, and producing parts to data. This position requires working for various industries such as tool and die, heavy equipment, oil, defense work, etc.

This is a skilled labor position - previous brake press experience is required!
Essential functions:
· Have knowledge of press brake tooling, setup and metal forming fundamentals.
· Be able to read blueprint prints.
· Utilizing company supplied tools to perform job (squares, calipers, protractor)
· Competent in measuring parts and verifying dimensions with precise measuring tools in English and Metric.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment (No food, trash, scrap parts, etc.)
· Be willing to work overtime when needed.
· Maintain appropriate tools and keep current on calibration.
· Follow all safety rules and report unsafe work conditions to management.
· Regular attendance at work during scheduled work hours.
· Employees may be requested to perform other job functions as required.
Required competency, education, and experience:
· 4 years experience as a CNC Brake Press Operator with programming, set-up and operation responsibilities.
· A well-rounded knowledge of tooling, setups & bending practices.
· Candidate must have high school or equivalent education.
· Candidate must have valid driver’s license

· Candidate must be able to read and speak English.
· Candidate must be able to lift 40 pounds

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
