Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shop Help for our construction team. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic construction environment, supporting various tasks on-site. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced setting. Prior factory or warehouse experience is a plus, and mechanical aptitude is beneficial. This role is essential for assisting with daily operations, equipment handling, and material management within our manufacturing and construction facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and transportation of materials and power tools
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform various construction-related tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including storage of tools and materials
- Assist with mechanical tasks such as assembly, disassembly, or repairs as needed
- Support warehouse activities including inventory management and stock replenishment
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
- Power Washing/ Sandblasting
- Painting
Skills
- Ability to work safely around machinery and adhere to safety guidelines
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
