MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL
Job Title: RN – Behavioral Health – Masters Degree
Rate: Up to $2300.00 weekly
Location: St. Charles, IL
Evening Shift (8H) - (3P-11P) - 8 week contract
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Master’s degree Required
Experience
- One (1) to three (3) years in specialty required.
Licenses/Certifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- AHA BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Conducting Assessments: Evaluating the mental health needs of inmates to develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Providing Therapy: Offering individual and group counseling sessions to address emotional and psychological issues.
- Developing Treatment Plans: Creating comprehensive rehabilitation plans tailored to the needs of offenders.
- Managing Mental Health Conditions: Diagnosing and treating mental illnesses and behavioral disorders among inmates.
- Assist with staff training and evaluations and conduct regular meetings to identify problems and propose solutions.
- Maintain a professional and high standard of patient care and attend institutional staff meetings as directed.
