Job Summary:
The ADNS supports the Director of Nursing Services in managing the nursing department, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care in compliance with state, federal, and facility standards. This role fosters a culture of clinical excellence, ethical practice, and staff development.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Active, unrestricted RN license in New Hampshire (or compact license).
- Minimum 1-year long-term care experience, including 1-year supervisory experience.
- Leadership/management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of PDPM/MDS, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and geriatric nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, directing, and overseeing nursing operations.
- Support staffing, hiring, orientation, and ongoing staff training.
- Monitor resident care, medication administration, and care planning.
- Maintain compliance with policies, infection control, and HIPAA.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
