Responsibilities
- Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, hand tools, power tools, and other landscaping equipment to maintain lawns, gardens, and hardscape features.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning trees and shrubs, planting flowers, and installing mulch or soil amendments.
- Use excavators and other construction machinery for site preparation or landscape installation projects.
- Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote healthy growth.
- Install irrigation systems and perform regular maintenance to ensure efficient watering of landscapes.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways and driveways clear.
- Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment regularly and adhering to proper procedures during all landscaping activities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating lawn care equipment and hand tools.
- Strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices.
- Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and tree trimming.
- Experience working with power tools such as trimmers, blowers, excavators, and snow plows.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and general maintenance procedures for outdoor environments.
- Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols.
