Position Overview:
The Full-Time Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing landscaping equipment and company vehicles along with our other mechanic. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with a strong background in small engine repair and general maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair small engines (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws)
- Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment
- Conduct oil changes and basic maintenance on company trucks
- Sharpen mower and trimmer blades as needed
- Keep maintenance records up to date
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of mechanic experience (small engines preferred)
- Solid knowledge of lawn equipment and tools
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and safety
Schedule:
- 5 days per week
- Daytime hours
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)
