Responsibilities
- Supervise daily landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and irrigation system installation and repair
- Coordinate and oversee landscaping projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget
- Lead and motivate a team of landscape workers, providing clear instructions and support to maximize productivity
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets safety standards and client specifications
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure proper use of tools and machinery
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide expert recommendations on landscaping solutions
- Support tree care initiatives, including planting, pruning, disease management, and removal as needed
Skills
Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, construction, tree care, irrigation systems, gardening, horticulture or related fields
Strong supervising and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
Knowledge of landscape construction techniques and maintenance practices
Ability to identify plant health issues and perform basic horticultural treatments
Excellent organizational skills for scheduling tasks and managing resources efficiently
Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to operate landscaping machinery safely
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 49 – 65 per week
