Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing non diagnostic ultrasound examinations using 3D, 4D and HD. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as excellent patient care skills. The Ultrasonographer will work closely with the expectant mothers to document pregnancy by obtaining accurate imaging. Effective communication regarding patient conditions when necessary . Merchandising, Social media and strong Marketing skills needed
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for interpretation.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess patient conditions through sonography.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology and diagnostic radiology practices.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians to discuss findings and provide necessary information for patient care decisions.
- Keep accurate records of examinations performed, including patient history and imaging results.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited sonography program or equivalent training.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to ultrasound imaging.
- Experience in diagnostic radiology, particularly in Ob/Gyn is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and interpreting imaging results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
