Full-Time Front Desk/MRI Tech Assistant
Location: Gate Parkway Center, Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2 PM to 10 PM

Position Overview:
We are looking for a Front Desk/MRI Tech Assistant to join our Gate Parkway Center team full-time. In this role, you’ll manage front desk operations while assisting MRI Technologists to ensure a smooth and supportive experience for patients during MRI procedures. You’ll be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, managing administrative tasks, and assisting in patient preparation for MRI exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, offering a warm welcome and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
- Assist MRI Technologists by preparing patients for MRI procedures, offering support during imaging sessions.
- Register patients, verify information, and ensure insurance details are current.
- Handle payments and process financial transactions accurately.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.
- Schedule patient appointments with a focus on convenience and operational efficiency.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, following HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
- Support additional center operations as needed, always prioritizing patient care.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or patient care, bringing strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 2 PM to 10 PM.
- Strong communication and organizational skills for engaging with patients, physicians, and colleagues effectively.
- Ability to assist MRI Technologists with patient preparation and offer compassionate support.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multitasking with a patient-centered approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and decision-making abilities.
- Comfortable with phone and computer systems; quick to learn new technologies.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a medical office or radiology setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Background in customer service, hospitality, or patient care is essential.
