Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and patient-focused Front Desk & Medical Assistant to join our concierge medical and aesthetics practice. This is a hybrid role requiring the ability to seamlessly transition between front office responsibilities and clinical medical assisting duties. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, sales-minded, and passionate about providing an exceptional patient experience.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will create a welcoming, luxury experience while supporting providers with clinical care and promoting our aesthetic and wellness services.

Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Patient Experience

• Greet patients warmly and provide a high-end concierge experience.
• Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and manage office communications.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate provider calendars.
• Verify patient information and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Collect payments, process transactions, and balance daily receipts.
• Assist with membership enrollment and explain concierge practice benefits.
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.

Medical Assistant Duties

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and medication updates.
• Prepare patients for examinations and aesthetic procedures.
• Assist providers during medical and cosmetic treatments.
• Perform clinical tasks within scope of certification and state regulations.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
• Maintain inventory of medical and aesthetic supplies.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record.

Aesthetic & Sales Responsibilities

• Educate patients about aesthetic services, skincare products, wellness programs, and treatment plans.
• Recommend products and services based on patient needs and provider recommendations.
• Build patient confidence and encourage treatment plan adherence.
• Promote memberships, packages, and seasonal specials.
• Assist with retail sales and maintain product displays.
• Help meet practice goals through excellent patient education and service.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (preferred) or equivalent clinical experience.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical office; experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, med spa, or concierge medicine is strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable discussing and recommending aesthetic treatments and skincare products.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Experience with electronic medical records and scheduling software.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
