Job Summary
The Chiropractic Assistant / Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing front desk operations, patient coordination, administrative tasks, and assisting with clinical support to ensure smooth daily workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Handle patient intake, paperwork, and documentation
- Verify insurance benefits and assist with billing coordination
- Manage phone calls, emails, and patient communications
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
- Support patient flow and assist clinical staff as needed
- Follow up with missed appointments and rescheduling
- General office organization and administrative support
Requirements
- High school diploma or higher (college preferred)
- Prior experience in a medical, chiropractic, or rehab office preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with computers and scheduling software
- Experience with personal injury (MVA) cases is a plus
- Bilingual (English Korean or Spanish preferred but not required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems
- Front desk or office management experience in healthcare
- Knowledge of insurance verification and billing workflows
