Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced Assistant Superintendent to join our team on a 4-month contract at one of our premier multifamily housing projects in Belmont, California.
This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who is between long-term positions, recently completed a project, or simply enjoys bringing complex projects across the finish line. You'll step into an active, well-managed project during the final stages of construction and work alongside an experienced Superintendent and Project Manager to help deliver a successful turnover.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Superintendent in daily field operations on an active multifamily project.
- Coordinate subcontractors and maintain production through the final phases of construction.
- Help manage punch lists, inspections, closeout activities, and turnover preparation.
- Monitor quality control and ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and company standards.
- Maintain a safe jobsite and enforce company safety expectations.
- Assist with short-term scheduling, trade coordination, and issue resolution.
- Work closely with the Project Manager, field team, inspectors, and subcontractors to keep the project moving toward completion.
Qualifications
- Experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent on multifamily, podium, or apartment construction projects.
- Strong understanding of finish work, punch, inspections, and project closeout.
- Ability to coordinate multiple trades in an active construction environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and schedule performance.
- Ability to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work on active construction sites (standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 60 lbs)
- Ability to work at a desk and computer for extended periods
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
