What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer - Installer position at Precision Gate Services, LLC?
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with installation of residential, commercial, ornamental, wood, and farm gates
- Assist with installation of gate operators and access control systems
- Dig holes and trenches for posts, conduit, and equipment
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete
- Install PVC conduit and pull/run electrical wire
- Assist with setting posts, gates, operators, and other gate hardware
- Assist with welding and fabrication projects in the shop as needed
- Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow instructions from the lead installer and work as part of a team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Able to work outdoors in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions
- Able to perform physical labor, including lifting, digging, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Able to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Willingness to learn gate installation, access control, and construction skills
- Able to follow directions and work safely
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Previous construction, welding, electrical, fencing, or gate installation experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be dependable, willing to learn, and able to work well with others

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
