We're currently looking to expand our team with an enthusiastic and skilled Garage Door Sales and Service Technician.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Garage Door Sales and Service Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for both sales and service tasks, including recommending the best products to meet customer needs, performing installations, and providing repair services. You will work directly with customers to ensure their satisfaction and the safety and functionality of their garage doors.

Responsibilities

Sales:

• Assist customers in selecting the right garage doors and accessories based on their needs, budget, and preferences.
• Provide product knowledge, explain features, and offer solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Generate quotes and close sales, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  
  

Service

• Diagnose and repair issues with garage doors and openers, including mechanical and electrical components.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on garage door systems.
• Offer recommendations for upgrades or additional services based on customer needs.
  
  

Customer Service

• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer questions, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Build lasting relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in garage door installation, repair, or sales is a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge of garage door systems and their components is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information to customers clearly.
• A customer-centric attitude with a focus on providing top-tier service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
