About Us:
Precision Fluid Controls, Inc. designs, manufactures, and tests components for launch vehicles and ground support applications—providing many types of valves including throttling valves, ball valves, check and relief valves, vent and relief valves, pressure reducing, both manual and dome loaded, regulators, sleeve valves, butterfly valves, solenoid valves plus many others.
About the role:
The Deburr Technician performs precision finishing and edge-conditioning on aerospace components to meet strict dimensional, surface, and safety specifications. This hands-on role supports production and quality teams by removing burrs, blending edges, and preparing parts for processing and final assembly.
The role is a fully on-site role located in our Lincoln, CA offices.

What You’ll Do:
· Perform manual deburring, edge-breaking, polishing, and finishing operations on metal and composite parts using hand tools, files, abrasives, and power tools
· Read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality specifications to achieve required tolerances and surface finishes
· Inspect parts visually and with measuring tools to verify dimensions, edge radii, and surface quality
· Documents and reports nonconformances
· Maintain process consistency by following standard work, finishing parameters, and tooling/fixture instructions
· Prepare parts for downstream processes including heat treatment, cooling, and assembly by ensuring cleanliness and proper edge conditioning
· Collaborates with production, engineering, and quality to troubleshoot finish issues
What You’ll Need:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 1 to 3 years of hands-on deburring, finishing, or machinist support experience in manufacturing; aerospace experience preferred
· Ability to read basic blueprints and follow written instructions
· Experience with hand finishing tools, abrasive media, pneumatic and electric finishing tools
· Familiarity with GD&T fundamentals and measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and optical aids
· Ability to work to tight tolerances and meet repeatable quality standards
· Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, safety focused environment
· Excellent organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize under tight schedules
· ITAR compliance eligibility (U.S. citizenship or permanent residency)

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
