Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire service.
- Align wheels and perform necessary adjustments to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Assist with HVAC system repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and recommendations.
- Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and working with machinery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role within a service environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety practices in a workshop setting.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
