Role Description The Shipping Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in East Greenville, PA, responsible for daily shipping and receiving operations. This role coordinates order fulfillment, ensures accurate packing and labeling, prepares shipping documentation, and schedules pickups with carriers. The Shipping Lead verifies incoming and outgoing shipments, and addresses discrepancies promptly. They operate material handling equipment as needed, maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, and support continuous improvements in workflow, accuracy, and efficiency. The role also involves collaborating with warehouse, production, and customer service teams to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Basic computer skills and experience with shipping or inventory management systems.
- Packing skills with attention to accuracy, product protection, and compliance with customer and carrier requirements.
- Experience with Forklift Operation and other material handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution environment is a bonus, but not a requirement.
- Previous experience in a lead or coordinator role within shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations is a plus
- Ability to lift and move materials safely, follow safety procedures, and maintain an organized work area.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
