Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Optician to join our growing team at Precision Eye Group. Having recently built a new state-of-the-art facility, we are expanding and looking for a dedicated professional to help us deliver exceptional eye care and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical services, enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and be committed to providing personalized patient care.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome and assist patients with selecting eyewear
- Take measurements and fit glasses for comfort and accuracy
- Support our team with basic office tasks and patient flow
- Adjust and repair glasses
- Use our electronic medical record system (training provided)
- Provide excellent customer service in a calm, professional manner
- Work closely with our optometrists and optical team to support patient care
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as an optician or in a similar optical role.
- Strong knowledge of eyewear products, measurements, and fitting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in using optical equipment and electronic medical record systems.
