Pedco, a 70 year established machine builder & job shop is seeking qualified CNC milling and lathe machinists / toolmakers. We service a wide variety of industries, and work with all types of materials. We are a job shop, so every day is different. If you like variety, and working with several types of material, than this is the place for you!
Summary:
Milling machinists must have a minimum of 5 years experience in basic set up & machining procedures on all shop machines and tools. Experience with programming a Hurco conversational mill is a must.
Lathe machinists must have a minimum of 5 years experience in basic set up & machining procedures on all shop machines and tools. Experience with programming a Mazak control is a must.
Requirements:
* Make parts from dimensional prints & concept drawings as well as verbal instructions.
* Machine set-up and make own fixtures.
* Program a CNC conversational mill or Lathe with Mazak Control.
* Have own tools.
This is a 1st shift position. Hours will be 6 am - 2:30 pm or 7am to 3:30pm Monday thru Friday. Occasional overtime is offered, but not required.
