Precision Electric Motor Sales (PEMS) is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Product Data Specialist to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of product information across our business systems. The Product Data Specialist will play an important role in improving data quality, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and helping ensure our customers have access to accurate and reliable product information across all sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, validate, and enhance product information within PIM, ERP, and related business systems.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of technical specifications, attributes, documentation, and digital assets.
- Monitor and improve product data quality, consistency, and readiness across all sales and operational channels.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Operations teams to support product data needs.
- Support product lifecycle activities, including new product introductions, revisions, supersessions, and obsolescence updates.
- Assist with data governance, system integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate supplier product information and technical catalogs to ensure standardized, reliable data.
- Create reports and metrics to track data quality, completeness, and overall product readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in product data management, PIM systems, ERP administration, or a related role.
- Experience in industrial distribution and electrical manufacturing preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience managing large datasets.
- Familiarity with PIM platforms, ERP systems, e-commerce product catalogs, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of electric motors, drives, industrial products, or related technical specifications is a plus.
