Industrial Maintenance Technician (Electrical/Mechanical)

Precision Die Cast is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance & Facilities Technician to join our team.

We are a small, stable manufacturing company looking for someone who takes pride in solving problems, works independently, and enjoys keeping equipment and facilities operating at their best.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and take ownership of our equipment and facility.

This position requires someone who is willing to pitch in wherever needed and enjoys being an important part of a close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Install, repair, and modify electrical controls and machine components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Repair facility equipment including lighting, HVAC, air compressors, plumbing, and building systems.
• Coordinate outside contractors when specialized work is required.
• Fabricate or modify machine components when needed.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and maintenance records.
• Identify problems before they become downtime.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Able to come in outside normal hours to clear error alarms.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Mechanical aptitude with industrial equipment.
• Experience with motors, motor controls, relays, sensors, VFDs, PLC troubleshooting, and electrical panels.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Self-motivated and dependable.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
