Responsibilities
- Operate a CNC milling machine
- Set up machines by installing tooling, adjusting parameters, and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Perform precision measurements using measuring instruments and tools to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
- Follow safety standards and protocols rigorously to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
- Conduct routine inspections of machined parts for accuracy and quality control using shop math and measurement techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring proper tool setup and machine maintenance.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Willingness to learn machine operation procedures including CNC programming, tooling setup, and safety standards in production.
- Ability to work safely around machinery such as CNC machines, stamping presses, forming machines, and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination for quality inspection tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Prior experience or certifications in welding, CNC operation, or metal fabrication is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
