Vet Medics, a Precision Medicine company, is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and workflow at our Ronkonkoma veterinary compounding pharmacy. This role will focus on improving operational efficiency, managing staff, and ensuring prescriptions move through the pharmacy accurately and efficiently.
This position works closely with the Pharmacist in Charge and is responsible for the operational performance of the pharmacy.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of operations, logistics, fulfillment, or pharmacy operations experience
- Experience managing teams in a fast paced operational environment
- Experience improving workflows and operational processes
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience managing inventory, fulfillment, or shipping operations
- Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in pharmacy, healthcare, or veterinary healthcare environments
- Experience working in a regulated or compliance driven environment
- Experience managing pharmacy technicians or fulfillment staff
- Experience improving operational systems or workflows
