What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wax Assembly- 3rd Shift position at Precision Castparts?
The Wax Assembler must be able to perform all operations and operate the equipment efficiently when assembling wax patterns.

- Assemble wax pattern clusters per procedures (PEI/SOP).
- Inspect components before and after assembly for casting defect contributors. Visually check for broken corners, lugs, and missing pins and correct serial number.
- Determine the acceptability to specifications.
- Return acceptable and unacceptable patterns back to the appropriate stations or operators.
- Properly identify your work performed on clusters in Lot Control and affix acquired identification to molds.
- Meet the specific productivity and quality requirements.
- Follow safety rules and wear required PPE at all times
- Keep the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe working condition.
- Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform all other duties assigned by supervision.
- Bi-lingual a PLUS (Spanish)
- Meet or exceed defined Visual Acuity (when required).
- Meet color perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required).
- Additional training to comply with applicable SOP/Certifications (when required).
- Must be able to learn job specifications that are required by new customers, including existing customers with changes in job specifications.
- Flexibility between assembly and wax dress departments.
- Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills.
- Teamwork is essential.
- Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions.
- Must be able to: sit 50% of the day; stand 50% of the day; and lift molds up to 35 pounds every 45 minutes during the day
