1st Shift NDT Technician – X-Ray Operator (Level 1)

Location: Mentor, Ohio

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Schedule Options: Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented NDT Technician – X-Ray Operator (Level 1) to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring product quality and safety by inspecting components using advanced X-ray technology. What You’ll Do

• Inspect parts for defects and ensure compliance with specifications
• Operate X-ray and testing equipment to evaluate product quality
• Perform system capability checks and follow established procedures
• Accurately document work performed and maintain proper records
• Handle materials, including hazardous waste, in compliance with safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support inventory movement and manage X-ray film storage
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
• Perform additional duties as assigned
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant experience)
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Casting experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and flexibility with work hours
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Positive attitude and effective communication skills

• Ability to pass a visual acuity exam
