Location: Mentor / Painesville, Ohio

Schedule: Thursday–Sunday | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations on the night shift. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform maintenance and repair of production equipment, including: Vacuum furnaces, Boilerclaves, Conveyors, Wax presses, Robotic cells
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
• Assist with equipment installation, modification, and light construction projects
• Complete welding, pipe fitting, soldering, and plumbing repairs as needed
• perate maintenance equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts
• Support repairs and service work at vendors, suppliers, customer sites, and other company locations when required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety policies, MSDS procedures, and hazardous waste handling requirements
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues efficiently
  
  

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Electrical degree or certification preferred
  
  

Experience

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience maintaining and repairing plant production equipment
• Knowledge of vacuum furnace operation and repair preferred
• Robotics maintenance and/or programming experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Plumbing, Pipe Fitting, Welding, Soldering, PLC troubleshooting and light programming
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Previous training experience is a plus
