Position Summary
Mechanics work under minimal supervision to perform turret/spindle alignments, PM tasks such as trouble shoot lubrication system, hydraulics, bar feeders, etc. trouble shoot controls, issues etc., able to diagnose and repair most any NC mechanical issues; pull and replace ball screws, hydraulic and pneumatic issues. Able to complete any task given related to facility maintenance demonstrating expertise in plumbing and general carpentry and numerous tasks involved in facility related issues. Demonstrating the ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, while serving as either a mechanical or technical SME.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Adheres to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.

- Lift up to 45lbs
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
- Assist in maintaining inventories (critical parts, supplies, etc.)
- Perform all levels of facility maintenance tasks
- Perform all NC maintenance
- Perform intermediate NC repairs (Replace Ball Screws, etc.)
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
- The ability to read and write English.
- The ability to use all hand tools, wrenches, etc.
- The ability to use all power tools
- The ability to use diagnostic tools (amp probes, voltage meters)
- The ability to use basic inspection tools such micrometers, calipers, comparators
- The ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents - basic computer skills
- The ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic prints and dimensions
- Familiarity with NC equipment
- Typically 6-10 Years
- GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.
