Primary Function: Responsible for Supervising and assisting in the completion of the day-to-day activities, involving the maintenance of the building/facility, equipment and machinery including, but not limited to HVAC, building lighting systems, CNC machines, ovens, and any other equipment required to support PCC Ogden Operations. Supervises and works with the Maintenance Dispatcher to coordinate the work of Maintenance employees who repair and maintain building/facility, equipment, and machinery.

- Estimates, plans, assigns, and oversees work of subordinates including projects as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
- Responsible for single-point coordination of emergency off-shift and weekend repair needs (e.g., vendor contact, shipping of product, etc.).
- Maintains adequate maintenance tools in proper condition for the performance of maintenance tasks. Identifies and initiates orders for spares and backup parts as needed
- Works closely with the Facilities Manager to execute campus wide, corporate 6s activities.
- Works closely with internal customers to execute Proactive and Reactive maintenance actions utilizing the PCC CMMS System.
- Works closely with Facilities Manager to execute Capital Acquisition Requests and manage the work associated with them.
- Coaches, counsels and manages performance of direct reports.
- Maintains business relationship with third-party contractor support base.
- Executes best practices specific to predictive and preventative maintenance, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 5 Why problem solving, and condition-based monitoring techniques.
- Assists Maintenance Manager in preparing, controlling, and administering plans, processes, and budgets relating to operational performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
- Responsible for the implementation and execution of continuous, safe, reliable and efficient maintenance processes.
- Performs additional duties as assigned

- Able to read and comprehend English.
- Able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Able to apply concepts of fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions.
- Able to lift and carry up to 35lbs. occasionally.
- Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- 6 to 10 years of Industrial Maintenance training or experience.
- Maintenance Certificate from a Vocational or Trade School
- PLC experience
