Primary Function: Provides support on Engineering projects to plan, schedule and perform a wide variety of procedures, processes and experiments to test parts, processes, and materials. Works with engineers to develop new methods and implement major projects.

- Develop, format, release, and maintain engineering procedures, work instructions, and standards with support from process engineering and quality engineering
- Support document revision control and change tracking
- Facilitate periodic procedure reviews and continuous improvement updates
- Support engineers in translating complex technical processes into clear, auditable documentation
- Develop and maintain training materials and curriculum
- Support new‑hire onboarding and recurring trainings and certifications
- Identify training gaps based on audit findings, process changes, or performance issues
- Support cross‑functional technical training initiatives
- Support internal audits to assess operator skill gaps and potential training gaps
- Maintain audit readiness through routine checks and proactive risk identification
- Able to read and comprehend English.
- Able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Able to apply concepts of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions. (Used for mechanical design probability, process optimization, risk assessment, prediction).
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form.
- Able to communicate effectively with co-workers.
- Able to use Microsoft applications.
- Complies with company and departmental policies and procedures, including company’s attendance policy.
- Associates Degree and/or 6 months to 1 year of training or experience.
- Forklift Certification
- Works under indirect supervision following established practices and clear-cut policies in the performance of the majority of duties. Make decisions when general instructions, established methods and clearly defined precedents indicate action to be taken, but refers unusual problems to superiors.
- Occasional sitting, walking, driving, reaching above shoulder level, reaching below shoulder level, climbing, balancing, stooping or squatting, crawling, pushing or pulling required.
- Frequent standing, using hands to handle or feel, and talking required.
- Continuous hearing required.
- Occasional work required in areas with loud noise and fumes or airborne particles.

- Inventory all existing engineering procedures and training materials
- Identify high‑risk gaps, outdated documents, and audit vulnerabilities
- Ensure that all technical work instructions are the newest revision
- Establish a centralized system for training and competency tracking
- Ensure that all work requiring training for buyoff has a procedure and training program established and documented
- Have a standardized internal audit system established for key facets of the business
- AS9100 Prep
- Work instruction preparedness
- Inspector & rework quality audits
- Work with quality, safety, engineering, and operations to have completed audits covering all above facets of the business
- Have documented risk assessments and contingency documents for all areas
