Position Summary
Working under direct supervision, level one deburr operators perform basic deburr operations such as edge breaking and simple surface finishing tasks using deburr tools such as swivel and straight edge knifes and pneumatic tools employing deburr pads to hand finish part surfaces. They will also demonstrate basic competencies in interpreting and following work instructions including work orders and travelers, and completing shop transactions in the relevant MRP system after instruction. 0-1 Years of Exp.

Required Experience
1 year related experience and/or training in manufacturing environment or equivalent. Machining, Blue Print Reading, & Shop Math Certifications preferred.
Level Of Education
High school diploma/GED or equivalent required.
For informational purposes only the range of pay for this role is $20.50 to $24US Dollar (USD)Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only this role is eligible to participate in the Companys Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Companys bonus multiple based on the Companys performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees and their families are eligible to participate in the company\'s medical dental vision and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Companys 401k plan.80

- Reads blueprint or job order and tooling instructions for specifications.
- Lifts work piece manually places it in fixture or jig or on machine table, and secures it with clamps or holds it in position.
- Selects proper deburring wheel for type of material and mounts to motor.
- Verifies conformance of machined work pieces to specifications.
- Removes burrs and assure proper finish to work piece
- Works on various types of metallic materials.
