Summary The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects that align with business objectives. This role leads cross-functional teams, ensures adherence to scope, schedule, and budget, and provides clear communication to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Essential Functions Project Planning & Execution * Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and deliverables * Ensure projects are delivered on time and within defined scope * Drive accountability across cross-functional teams Stakeholder & Communication Management * Communicate project status, risks, and updates to business and IT stakeholders * Lead project meetings and ensure preparation and participation * Coordinate internal teams and external vendors Budget & Resource Management * Monitor project budget and track actual vs. forecasted costs * Ensure appropriate resource allocation and utilization * Escalate potential cost overruns or resource constraints Risk & Issue Management * Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies * Maintain issues logs, assign ownership, and track resolution * Escalate critical risks/issues to leadership or steering committee Governance & Documentation * Maintain complete and accurate project documentation * Ensure compliance with PMO standards, tools, and methodologies * Provide status reporting and metrics to support decision-making Qualifications Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Engineering, or related field * 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or related role * Basic understanding of project management concepts or methodologies Preferred Qualifications * Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Excel, or similar tools * Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, or Hybrid delivery models * Vendor and contract management experience
