Position Summary:
Working without supervision, perform quality inspection tasks of levels of complexity, as well as demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills and deep product knowledge. Quality inspectors provide insight into developing inspection processes for new work. This position call upon advanced knowledge of shop math, print reading, and quality reporting.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- First Article complete form knowledge
- Filling out AS9102 Rev C
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Performs Trouble shooting on Test Machines
- Program Keyence and able to trouble shoot
- Assist in coordinating for Quality Department needs
- Ensures tools / equipment meet standard and calibration requirements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Required Skills:
- The ability to read and write English.
- Advanced Trouble Shooting Skills
- Advanced Shop Math
- Advanced Print Reading
- Deep knowledge of Product & Customer Specification
- The ability to use complex gauges
- The ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents - computer skills
- Mechanical Testing experience (shear, tension, spindle retention etc)
- Willing and able to work overtime and weekends as business needs demand
