Duties
- Assist skilled tradespeople by carrying materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas on-site.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials for efficient workflow.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and others.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision to support various construction tasks.
- Support the installation of structural components such as framing, drywall, or flooring as directed.
- Help with site cleanup at the end of each workday to ensure a tidy and hazard-free environment.
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices; previous experience is a plus but not required.
