What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder/Fabricator position at Precision Axle/Precision Driveline?
Precision Axle/Precision Driveline is currently looking for a Welder/Fabricator or mechanically inclined individual. This position will assist with manufacturing and repairing axles and drivelines. Duties include light mechanic work for disassembling axles, spindles, and drivelines. Measuring, cutting, grinding, and welding skills are preferred.
Shop hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm. This is a full-time position with occasional overtime as needed to better serve our customers. Wage is dependent on experience: $25-$35/hour. Welding, machining, or fabrication experience desired, but not required. Valid driver's license and insurable driving record required.

SEEKING CANDIDATES WITH:
- Mechanical aptitude with interest/experience in welding, fabricating, and/or machining
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to work independently
- Basic hand tools
- Valid driver's license and insurable record (required)
Precision Axle/Precision Driveline is a Clackamas, OR based machine shop specializing in mobile and shop services including welding, machining, and fabrication. We are locally owned and operated and have been manufacturing, repairing, and modifying axles and equipment since 1979. Our Precision Axle division services the heavy trucking and machinery industry for all models of trucks, trailers, off-road equipment, RVs, and more. Our Precision Driveline division repairs, modifies, and manufactures drivelines for all makes and models.
