This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of electrical schematics and assembly procedures. Completion of an Avionics Technician Program or Aircraft Maintenance Technician Program is highly desired and will be considered a strong asset.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling weight up to 20 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Work Location: EDN Aviation, 6720 Valjean Avenue, Van Nuys, CA 91406
Experience: At least 3 years of related experience in electrical or related field preferred.

- Perform sequential assembly of electrical components, including terminals, connectors, and push buttons.
- Test and troubleshoot electrical controls, making necessary adjustments to ensure proper functionality.
- Cut, strip, crimp, and mount wires to connect various electrical units accurately and efficiently.
- Interpret and perform work based on detailed schematics, wire lists, bills of materials, technical drawings, and supporting documentation.
