Job Title: Clean Room I - Inspector
Reports to: Clean Room Supervisor
General Description: Routine, repetitive checking of production parts which involves visual and simple dimensional inspection. Heavy microscope use.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Must be able to distinguish good and bad parts
- Microscope using experience is required
- Check routing and be alert to special instructions on bin tags
- Buffing various parts on a cloth buffing wheel
- Lifting up to 25 lb. pans of parts from cart to desk
- Deliver Rubbermaid containers to shipping racks
- Deliver Rubbermaid containers to Bakery cart
- Load parts onto rods with the use of picks
- Computer Data Entry
- Operate molding presses
- Perform 1 stage and 3 stage IPA washing
- Regular & Consistent Attendance
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean/safe work area
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Prerequisite Qualifications:
- Ability to handle multiple activities
- Mechanical aptitude
- With training, acquire accuracy in using scales and other measuring devices
- Legible handwriting
- Good communication skills
- Quality conscious
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of company products and departmental procedures
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Team player
