Shipping and Receiving Associate

Precision Advanced is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team! We are looking for an individual with experience loading/unloading parts with the use of a forklift, preparing shipments, and familiar with material handling equipment.

Position: Shipping and Receiving Associate

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for unloading incoming, and loading outgoing parts with the use of the forklift, and overhead crane for large parts
• Responsible for moving parts through shipping areas & machines in a timely fashion
• Prepare and stage shipments which includes physical preparation of the parts (debur, clean, package etc.)
• Maintain proper flow of parts that need to be moved from both buildings (parts movement form)
• Document all certifications of materials received and/or processed to complete jobs
• Maintain efficient clock in & off on part movement form along with job traveler
• Must report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Shop Foreman
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition to safety regulations
• Misc. jobs around the shop as needed
• Collaborate with co-workers and Shop Foreman

Position Requirements

• Must be familiar with material handling equipment, overhead cranes, & forklifts
• Must have valid driver’s license & clean driving record
• Must be physically fit as required of the job

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 10-hour shift
• Day shift
• Overtime
• Additional Hours Available

Benefits

• Hourly wage range $20-$23 dependent on experience

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
