About the Role
As an Architectural Lighting Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the atmosphere of diverse projects across commercial, hospitality, and residential sectors. Key Responsibilities
- Design & Implementation
- Develop innovative lighting concepts tailored to each project’s architectural and interior design vision.
- Prepare detailed lighting layouts, fixture specifications, and control strategies.
- Oversee the integration of lighting systems into architectural plans.
- Technical Studies & Documentation
- Conduct daylighting analyses to optimize natural light usage.
- Create fixture schedules, technical drawings, and specifications using Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and sustainability practices.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work hand-in-hand with architects, interior designers, and engineers to deliver cohesive design solutions.
- Present concepts and design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback into refined solutions.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors during project execution to ensure design intent is realized.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in architectural lighting design.
- Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and familiarity with lighting calculation software.
