About the Role

As an Architectural Lighting Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the atmosphere of diverse projects across commercial, hospitality, and residential sectors. You’ll collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and clients to craft lighting solutions that enhance both functionality and aesthetics. From concept to execution, you’ll ensure that every project shines—literally and figuratively.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Implementation
  • Develop innovative lighting concepts tailored to each project’s architectural and interior design vision.
  • Prepare detailed lighting layouts, fixture specifications, and control strategies.
  • Oversee the integration of lighting systems into architectural plans.
  • Technical Studies & Documentation
  • Conduct daylighting analyses to optimize natural light usage.
  • Create fixture schedules, technical drawings, and specifications using Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and sustainability practices.
  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Work hand-in-hand with architects, interior designers, and engineers to deliver cohesive design solutions.
  • Present concepts and design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback into refined solutions.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors during project execution to ensure design intent is realized.


Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in architectural lighting design.
  • Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and familiarity with lighting calculation software.
  • Qualities:
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communicator who thrives in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments.
